.The Field Sales Team Lead is an entry-level position responsible for providing full leadership and direction to a team of employees in an effort to deliver a full range of sales support activities in coordination with the Consumer Sales team. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the seamless delivery of support services to Citi clients and to assist the team in meeting sales targets.Responsibilities:Conduct performance evaluations, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions, and termination of team members.Service existing accounts and establish new accounts at designated locations or assigned geographical coverage areas in order to increase revenue for the bank.Proactively approach Citi clients to establish real needs, understand the client and their requirements, and interest them in Citi's products.Provide advice and product information to Citi clients as appropriate, outlining features and benefits.Identify cross-selling opportunities to sell other products.Achieve or exceed decided sales targets.Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervising the activity of others and creating accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.Qualifications:Previous relevant experience preferred.Experience in financial sales, customer service, and management required.Proficient computer skills.Proactive leadership and motivational skills.Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.Creative problem-solving and decision-making skills.Education:Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
