.The Sr. Business Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for the overall administrative activities of a business.
These tasks may include contribution to external audits, business continuity activities or addressing regulatory issues.
The Sr. Business Analyst may assist in activities such as the tracking of business financials, managing employee headcount or coordination of other administrative needs.
May work on ad hoc projects as requested.Responsibilities:Summarize budgets and submit recommendations for the approval or disapproval of funds requestsAnalyze monthly department budgeting and accounting reports to maintain expenditure controlsReview budget estimates for completeness, accuracy, and conformity with procedures and regulationsMonitor the preparation of regular and special budget reportsProvide advice and technical assistance with cost analysis and fiscal allocationAnalyze budgetary/accounting data and provide financial recommendationsGather and verify accuracy of financial recordsAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Qualifications:2-5 years of business analysis experience requiredExperience creating documentation within standard development methodologyConsistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skillsEducation:Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experienceThis job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
Other job-related duties may be assigned as required.Knowledge/Experience:Good understanding of Business Operations / Business Management concepts and proceduresUnderstanding of workforce or people management frameworks or strategies.Ability to exercise judgment and evaluate options under circumstances not covered by procedures or precedentsProven experience in a process-driven environment and capability to promote process reengineering.Experience in a service-provisioning environment to support users on process and tools management.Experience in compiling, analyzing, and reporting data and informationAbility to generate insights through data visualization and metrics generation.Knowledge of and experience on design thinking and agile practices.Additional Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree level in Computer or Human Sciences, e.G.
: Information Technology, Business Administration, Human Resources.
