Eaton's Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Banking Analyst.
**What you'll do**:
This role is in the Payroll Banking area in a shared services environment that generate payment proposal for differents entities and payroll payments, tax, according the calendar from Eaton, makesure to review payments rejected, ensure that all payroll payments with due date are incluided in the payment run and review and follow up according to the Eaton stablished policies
1. Perform Bank Disbursements to payroll payments in timely manner according schedule.
2. Reconcile Payments against Bank Statement on daily basis in order to ensure they were successful.
3. Provide evidence of Bank Disbursements to the Local teams.
4. Attend Column Case ensuring to solve all the cases in next 24 Hours.
5. Review and Analyze payments rejected or returns.
6. Analyze Error in payments, payments in holds, Unreconcile items
7. Analyzes payroll payments problems, determines root cause and recommends solutions.
8. Coordinates problem resolutions between the Banks and Operations.
9. Prepares metric analysis and reporting.
10. Addresses escalated payments issues and leads activities to resolve payments concerns.
11. Participates in continuous improvements and project work to drive functional excellence.
12. Completes payment process special handling requests.
13. Develops and documents new processes and improvements.
14. Functions well in a team environment.
15. - Maintains positive relationships with customers, both internal & external. Ensure professional and appropriate communications.
16. - Knows and complies with Eaton policies: Global Ethics, Values and Philosophy, Management Environmental Safety and Security and Health (MESH).
**Qualifications**:
**Education level required**
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance related
**Years and area of experience required**
1 - 2 years in a similar position

**Skills**:
**Technical knowledge**
Accounts payable, data processing in financial systems, Bilingual (English Spanish) a plus, accounting and banking portals. Strong PC skills (Excel). Shared service experience a plus.
**Soft skills**
Communication, ability to operate and deliver independently without day-to-day supervision, flexibility to work outside standard hours to accommodate teams working in around the globe. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Ability to consistently meet deadlines.
