About the role:Barry Callebaut Digital (BC Digital) is on a mission to lead the digital revolution in the chocolate industry, and we're looking for a Senior Business Analyst in the field of Logistics, assessing stakeholder requirements for digital solutions. Reporting to the Head of Digital Logistics, you will support the creation of digital-enabled logistic management including 3PL integration & communication, internal warehouse & distribution through innovative IT solutions. You will be the point of contact for the solution architecture and design of IT solutions for logistics processes, while closely collaborating with business needs and objectives. In addition, you will advise and support internal customers in formulating and concretizing their requirements and the creation of respective digital solutions.
Key responsibilities include:Be responsible for analyzing and optimizing the organization's digital logistics processes including 3PL integration & communication, internal warehouse & distribution, transport managementCollaborate with business stakeholders and solution architects to ensure compliance and enhance operational excellenceLeverage their expertise to enhance quality, streamline workflows, and drive efficiencyCreate detailed business analysis, ensuring they meet organizational objectivesCollaborate with business stakeholders (including conducting interviews, workshops and surveys) aligning needs and capturing requirements for digital solutionsCreate user stories, use cases, functional specifications and feasibility studies to evaluate proposed changes for new systems or enhancementsCollaborate with other digital teams (including development teams) to design and implement solutions that meet business needsCreate concepts and technical specifications for downstream implementation as services based on existing IT systemsRecommend improvements to business processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectivenessClose cooperation with the application management team implementing, maintaining and operating applicationsAbout you:Master's degree in IT, computer science, logistics, business administration, or a comparable fieldProficient in EnglishAdvanced knowledge with IT solution design, logistic processes, feasibility studies, user acceptance testing etc.Knowledge of ERP systems, e.g. SAP (modules WM, SD, optional eWM or TMS solutions)Proficiency of business analysis tools and techniques (e.g., SWOT analysis, BPMN, UML)Familiarity with project methodologies (both waterfall and agile) as well as management software (e.g., JIRA)A minimum of 5 years of working experience in relevant fieldsIndependent and self-driven personality, taking responsibility and owning tasksStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to interpret data and draw insightsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to present to diverse audiencesWillingness to learn and try new technologies and topicsAbility to instruct employees and guide the solving of non-routine problems
