.**Justification**Our team is looking for a launch Planner to provide support for the launch leadership and be the department representative for various activities and committees. The role requires a good understanding of the manufacturing administrative systems and basic financial concepts.**Job Profile**You will control the progress of new programs, including cost management, process efficiency and data management. The role requires a substantial amount of creativity, perception and initiative and the ability to lead group activities and projects.**Responsibilities'**:- Team meetings leadership and project advance status deployment while Launch Wall, PLOW and Manufacturing Validation based on Plan Timing Chart.- Participate and support regular audits within the department in various areas, including manufacturing process validation, safety observations and compliance audits with external auditors- Launch team financial resources management, facilitate the department budget and forecasting process including overtime data control, presentations and cost performance reports to Leadership team.- Ensure monthly cost and budget reconciliation is completed, including analysis and countermeasures are implemented.- Department representation on various committees and groups, including Workplace of Choice, Plant Recognition Team and several cross-function plant resource groups.- Take initiative and lead various projects as required for the department.**Qualifications**:- Two-year degree or professional certification in a related field or equivalent work experience- Ability to ensure a safe industrial work environment- Interpersonal skills to work effectively with others, motivate and support team member output- Effective interpersonal and communication skills- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task- Able to work autonomously with occasional guidance from leaders and peers**About GM**Our vision is a world with Zero Crashes, Zero Emissions and Zero Congestion and we embrace the responsibility to lead the change that will make our world better, safer and more equitable for all.**Why Join Us**We aspire to be the most inclusive company in the world.
