The BMS Software Application Supervisor is responsible for developing advanced automotive battery packs from initial design concept through full volume production. The Supervisor is responsible for leading the release and system integration of the BMS on BEV vehicle architectures for products that specifically require in-house BMS controls. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: Lead efforts to Develop program BMS software requirements that satisfy vehicle level functional objectives, Cross-functional coordination of SW feature planning, requirements decomposition, integration and validation efforts with internal and external stakeholders in order to meet critical program milestones. Lead coordination of BMS SW CDR reviews internally and with the supplier. Track and manage feature capability and issue recovery for BMS functionality. Coordinate and track validation efforts with cross functional team and supplier. Provide program deliverables on time per major development milestones. Lead Coordination meetings with internal stakeholders to manage, track and resolve critical issues to support vehicle development and production milestones.

- Project management for BMS feature coordination and planning to meet vehicle development milestones
- Lead regional administrative tasks and coordinate support for multiple engineers - resource management, equipment and local support.
- Support escalation and Senior leadership reporting for major milestones and issue mitigation.
- Document Stellantis Lessons Learned to improve Stellantis BMS requirements and process es
- Support as defined the Stellantis Quality Gate and CDR milestones per Propulsion Systems Development Plan (PSDP).
- Collaborate with cross functional organizations to ensure project deliverable accountability and deliverable support.
- Support BMS engineering and management in program execution duties
**Requirements**:
**Basic Qualifications**:
- BS in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science or Equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of product development and/or process development
- Li-ion Batteries experience preferred
- **Knowledge in debugging issues, tools, calibration software in the automotive industry is a must**:
- Understanding of energy storage systems and vehicle electrification preferred
- Good knowledge of battery management system, software and hardware design preferred
- Good Analytical and Problem Solving Skills
- Highly Motivated and Self Starter
- Leadership experience
- Demonstrated Ability to Work in a Team Environment
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Masters degree in Business (MBA) or Engineering
- Project management and team management experience
- High Voltage Battery or High Voltage powertrain experience
- Understanding of diagnostics for an electronic module
- Extensive knowledge and hands on use of INCA, CDA, CAN, CANalyzer, Canoe, and other Electrical root cause tools (such as scopes, etc.).
