British American Tobacco México has an exciting opportunity for a DBS BI Business Analyst in Monterrey. Working with a diverse and highly skilled team in Monterrey as part of a DBS Hub in Mexico, this role will combine technical expertise with business understanding to provide data-driven solutions supporting the Canadian business unit to make better decisions through objective, timely, and relevant analysis. Your key responsibilities will include: Support in reporting processes (i.E. continue delivering the Global and local reporting) and new data testing, validation & proof of concept builds. Find novel ways to enable usage tracking to understand better how our multitude of products is being used to drive actions through insights. Prepare and present the monthly engagement levels of our Advance platform with recommendations. Build ad-hoc reports for internal functions depending on company priority (Device on hand tracking, trade distribution, etc.). Manage & oversee the TaO BI vs MicroStrategy reports and report findings to internal teams (Suppliers, IDT, Finance, and TMND). Support the BI Executive in developing content for product management Adhoc reporting requests from functions that are not repetitive (Ex: New product distribution report etc.). Own and nurture strong trusted relationships with key stakeholders, including external suppliers. Collaborate with BI executives in Mexico and Canada to build new dashboards in MicroStrategy and PowerBI as part of the Advance Backoffice ecosystem that provides curated insights on the go to analysts. Support the BI executive in Mexico and BI manager in Canada to build content and execute our communication plan via newsletter, yammer posts, and webinars designed to maintain user engagement across different functions in the company. What are we looking for? A degree in a field such as Marketing, Computer Science, or Analytics. 1-3 years in a similar role in a corporate environment, with a proven track record of business delivery and advanced experience analyzing sales performance data across multiple sources and relevant metrics. Ability to fluently converse in English and effectively present complex concepts and processes. Proficiency with MS Office, with advanced knowledge of Excel. Strong understanding of PowerBI (essential). Desirable knowledge of MicroStrategy. Demonstrates strong analytic skills including the ability to synthesize information, discover trends, reduce complexity, and identify key opportunities, and ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
