**Position Summary**:**Responsibilities**:- Plan, design, select, execute, and follow up team KPIs, trainings, 1 on 1 meetings, IDPs, career tracking and team buildings. As well as, creating strategies for the continuous development of the team.- Project Management. Ensures quality of development by closely monitoring programming standards are being adhered to by staff - including coding standards, change process and documentation.- Meet with business managers to discuss problems and negotiate prioritization of problems based on financial impact to the business and alignment with strategic direction.- Understand and create high-profile report timelines, work closely to developer if needed. Function as lead developer when the position is open.**Skills and Requirements**:- Level of formal education: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent- Area of study: Computer Science or related field- Years of experience: Five to seven years.- Type of experience: In analysis and reporting, management or similar roles- Special certifications or Technical Skills:- **Expert** proficiency with the AutoZone business methodology, understanding the needs of the business and helping upper management to take decisions. Technical skills may include experience with one or more of:- Programming Languages (e.G. Java, C, C++)- Databases (e.G. Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Informix, DB2)- BI tools (e.G. Talend, WebFocus)- Web developing (e.G. HTML 5, CSS, JS, Python)- Expert problem solving, domain technical and analytical skills.- Deep expertise in at least one business area. Store Operations, Commercial, Loss Prevention, Human Resources, Maintenance and/or IT.- Subject matter expertise across multiple functional areas that help span the enterprise knowledge.- Presentation, facilitation and writing skills.- Project management - estimating, planning, controlling, and execution.- High communication skills to debate and present ideas to upper management. (Directors, VPs, SVPs, EVPs)- Is the final authority on technical questions within their domain and is a regular source of technical supervision.- Maintain and get approval from business SSC partners for staffing budget.- Requires frequent persuasion or influencing of others in and outside the team. May assign and review the work of others.
