.RESPONSIBILITIESLead and gather proposal deliverables from functional owners, preparing final proposal draft for approval, and distributing final proposal for distribution to customer (by sales or assigned function).Provide ongoing feedback to continuously improve competitive / market intelligence gathering (includes win/loss analysis), reference architecture libraries, and proposal design formats.Participate in CRM activities and reporting projects to drive appropriate engagement dashboard output and pipeline management.Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; participating in professional societies.Drive complete deal input from sales and Solution Architects to gain timely qualification for deals that are consistent with IMS go to market strategy.Provide regional inputs to continuously improve Bid Management processes.Lead and generate responsive, compliant and compelling proposal responses to solicitations, RFPs, RFIs, RFQs and other assignments with deadlines.Consistently implement Vertiv brand messaging, including tone, style and theme, within all responses. Effectively leverage and promote the Vertiv value proposition.Electronically archive all Proposals and assist in win/loss analysis.Be responsible for pursuit scope management, change management, ensuring that the impacts of scope change (timeline and cost) are understood and documented, as well as managing proposal development.Ensure consistent proposal content and formatting are delivered in line with IMS strategy and messaging.Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related deliverables as needed.Complete all necessary SharePoint & Smartsheet inputs and updates.Compile and prepare the CBOM and costing requirements, reviewing with appropriate stakeholders and speaking to all costing items.Review and drive schedule inputs to ensure delivery within acceptable timelines.Contribute to the Bid Management process improvement that allows the process to flow more efficiently.Take leadership function and be responsible for all IMS Bid Management activities when Bid Manager is on PTO.Perform other miscellaneous duties as required.QUALIFICATIONSMinimum of 5 years of experience in project management, construction, or manufacturing.Demonstrates ability to plan, set priorities, organize and coordinate work with others.Builds good relationships.Is persuasive, assertive, demonstrates diplomacy and tact.Demonstrates professionalism (e.G., cooperation, courtesy, assertiveness, and non-defensiveness, accepting constructive criticism, and maintaining confidences).Effectively handles stressful situations (resolving conflicts and meeting deadlines).Ability to prioritize and be flexible to meet deadlines.Demonstrated success in engagement / pursuit management, and/or defining, launching and selling technology products or solutions
