Position Summary: Maintains records of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability or other financial activities within an organization.
Analyze financial data, investigate, and resolve any variances in order to prepare financial records and statements for management.
Essential Functions: - Support Accounting Supervisor and Assistant Controller to ensure accurate and timely reporting of monthly financial close.
- Preparation of Journal Entries and Account Reconciliations.
- Collaborate with key players within our Mexico operations team to ensure all journal entries and reconciliations are reported accurately and timely for monthly financial close.
- Collaboration with GL, Accounts Payable and Operations to ensure all close and financial reporting deadlines are met.
- Support Accounting Supervisor with special projects such as ERP system integration issues.
- Perform other duties or special projects as requested by management.
- Assist in audits, including quarterly and year-end audits.
Experiência y requisitos
Education/Knowledge/Skill Requirements: - Fluent in Spanish and English - B.S.
in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent education.
- Strong understanding of General Ledger structure and knowledge of GAAP.
- 1-3 Years of experience working at the staff level or higher.
- Previous manufacturing experience a plus.
- Previous Big 4/Audit experience a plus.
- Team player with a positive attitude and a strong thirst for knowledge.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and ERP experience.
- Ability to be detailed oriented, handle multiple tasks and priorities, and work effectively under pressure.
- Ability to work independently, be a self-starter and be highly organized.
