Travel Assistant responsibilities include:
Advice and consultation: Listen to the client's needs and preferences to determine the type of trip that best suits their interests and budget.
Flight bookings: Compare and book flights for clients, taking into account schedules, airlines, and fares.
Accommodation reservations: Organize the client's stay in hotels, resorts, hostels, or other accommodation options based on their preferences and needs.
Tour package organization: Create travel packages that include flights, accommodation, activities, and excursions, providing options and details for the client to choose from.
Assistance with visas and travel documents: Inform clients about visa requirements and assist them in obtaining the necessary documents for their trip.
Ground transportation bookings: Coordinate bookings for car rentals, airport transfers, or other means of ground transportation needed for the client's itinerary.
Offer travel insurance: Suggest and provide travel insurance to protect clients in case of cancellations, medical issues, or emergencies during the trip.
Provide tourist information: Supply information about destinations, tourist attractions, events, and special activities in the places the client intends to visit.
Assistance during the trip: Be available to provide support and assistance to clients during their trip, in case of itinerary changes or emergencies.
Itinerary management: Prepare and provide detailed itineraries for the client's trip, including schedules, reservations, and important details.
Troubleshooting: Help clients resolve any issues or inconveniences that may arise during the travel process.
Follow-up and feedback: Follow up with clients after their trip to gather feedback and ensure they are satisfied with the service received.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Spanish speaking would also be helpful.
Comfortable with Word, Excel, Google Meets/Zoom and CRM software.
Enjoys speaking on the phone or web conferencing.
Knowledge of the GDS (Amadaeus or Sabre)
