**Who we need**:
Reporting to the Department Manager, we have a **3-month contract opportunity** for a new graduate to join us as a Bill of Materials Analyst. You will read and analyze the Bill of Materials (BOM), ensuring all teams involved in part procurement, inventory, and production planning have an accurate and detailed understanding of the parts available at any given time. You will audit BOMs to identify and solve issues and create new planning bills as needed.

**You will**:
- _ Create_. You will build, maintain and validate the design release information for manufacturing Bill of Materials (BOM) and product structure release in the Case Manufacturing System (CMS). You will create and maintain planning bills for new products and product transfers to ensure optimum inventory levels and change orders. Create charts and templates to analyze data and monitor MUV progress.
- _ Analyze._ You will manage the material unit variance (MUV) database and process the ticket requirements generated by the operative areas. You will lead the integration of new part releases and change orders to minimize cost and waste of materials, workforce efforts, or overall production losses.
- _ Optimize._ You will audit BOMs and analyze engineering change orders. You will lead investigations of manufacturing BOM issues and initiate corrective action, collaborating with planners, cycle counters or other internal operations teams.

- _ The drive to learn._ You are a new graduate with the analytical and problem-solving skills to quickly come up to speed on our processes and operations. You may have worked in a manufacturing or plant environment. You are open-minded, can take feedback and can manage your workload efficiently. You are logical and process-oriented, and you thrive in a role where others depend on your accuracy and attention to detail.
- _ The technical skills._ You are proficient with MS Office, specifically Excel, and you may have worked with an ERP. You are interested in growing your knowledge in Materials Management.
