Rating and Billing Supervisor Job Responsibilities and DutiesReconciles billings with the accounts received ledgerMonitors the billing metrics databaseDevelops Monthly documentation/training materials and facilitates training on new system functionality and enhancements for billing, data management, and customer care end usersManages and ensures compliance with control objectivesDevelops and prepares reports and metrics. Utilizes metrics to improve performanceLeads a team of 7-10 staff, trains and provides development opportunitiesSupports internal and external auditorsUpdates billing policies, procedures, methods, and guidelinesCommunicates with management on day-to-day issuesLeads team to improve office collections, communicate issues, and implement ideasResponds to escalated Fee Billing operational inquiries from Collections and Stations within established SLAs (service level agreements)Performs daily activities of billing and auditing of assigned claimsEnsures compliance with company policies, and state and federal regulatory bodiesQualifications and SkillsAdvanced Business English level, verbal and writtenBachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related fieldStrong organizational and project management skills2+ years of supervisory experience in a similar roleAbility to prioritize and manage time appropriatelyExperience with a large customer base and high transaction volumeAbility to translate and analyze data into reportsProficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteInterpersonal Communication SkillsProblem solving and decision making: One of the best ways to maintain professional relationships is through effective problem solving and decision making.
