Our BIM Specialist have:
Hands-On BIM Expertise: Practical experience in BIM design, ensuring model accuracy, coordination and consistency.Task & Time Management Skills: Strong understanding of BIM deliverables and the ability to prioritize and manage time for BIM-related tasks.Multi-Disciplinary Knowledge: Expertise in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) and CSA (Civil, Structural, Architectural) for seamless model quality check and integration.Software Proficiency: Extensive (hands on) experience with software Autodesk BIM360, Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Dynamo, Microsoft Excel and Power BI to optimize workflows, performance and cross software collaboration.Detail-Oriented & Collaborative Skills: Excellent attention to detail and communication abilities, thriving in team environments and ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.Dependability & Motivation: High reliability and self-motivation, bringing a strong work ethic and problem-solving skills to complex projects. Key job responsibilitiesBIM Standards and Execution Support:Support other BIM roles to implement and maintain company BIM standards and Information Exchange Requirements (EIR) across projects.Support other BIM roles in BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) execution.Support internal teams and lead development and refinement of BIM workflows, standards, objects, and templates.Quality Assurance and Control:Perform thorough quality checks on BIM models, ensuring accuracy and compliance with AWS standards.Develop and optimize quality control processes to maintain high standards in all deliverables.Conduct coordination, model walkthroughs, and clash detection between disciplines (MEP, CSA) as part of regular quality checks.Raise the bar on model and documentation quality through continuous improvement initiatives.Project Management and Collaboration:Collaborate effectively with global teams to ensure smooth workflow and information exchange.Support releases of data center designs in a fast-paced environment, meeting scheduled targets.Foster a positive and enjoyable work environment while delivering high-quality results.Technical Expertise and Innovation:Develop and improve detailed Autodesk Revit models of MEP & CSA systems, applying innovative workflows and techniques.Update and modify existing models, drawing sets and other BIM deliverables as required.Prepare and export Autodesk Revit models and drawings to various formats, including open formats.Continuous Improvement and Knowledge Sharing:Implement lessons learned during projects and post-completion, applying insights to improve existing and future projects.Analyze BIM performance reports using tools like Power BI to identify areas for improvement.Conduct training and mentorship sessions for team members on BIM tools and company standards.Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in BIM technology and methodologies. BASIC QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field with 5-10 years of hands-on work on large-scale, complex multi-disciplinary data center projects as a BIM Designer, BIM Coordinator, or BIM Specialist supporting other BIM roles.Extensive experience in performing detailed quality checks on BIM models and technical project documentation. Proficiency in model review, including walkthroughs and clash detection, while adhering to and implementing company-wide BIM standards.Expert in Revit family creation and managing complex model assemblies. Skilled in producing high-quality technical drawings and BIM models. Proficiency in handling both CSA and MEP modeling challenges and resolving design clashes in real-time. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSGuiding teams in the adoption and implementation of new BIM technologies and processes.Mentoring junior staff on BIM best practices and emerging technologies.Actively driving innovation in BIM practices and technology upgrades.Contributing to the improvement of company-wide practices through BIM advancements.
