Thanks to our global experience and strong technical knowledge we can develop and support from the original concept to the design, product development, production systems and implementation.What are we looking for:We want your talent!**ALTEN Mexico is looking for Body Design & release engineer****General Activities**:The Body D&R Engineer will be responsible for the engineering, design, development, timing and production release for some of the following functions**:Body-in-white / Body closure sheet metal and hinging / Fascia/bumper / Underbody shield and Wheel liners / Cladding & flares / Body exterior (moldings, badges, decals and vents) / Front Lighting / EE & Signal Lighting / Fixed Glass/ Wipers /Fuel Door components /systems from initial design concept through full volume production. Exterior TRIM, Closures and VISION.**- Responsibilities will include interface and coordinating the packaging with product design office, vehicle development, other Exterior and Body Engineering teams, all adjacent departments (electromechanical, electrical, lighting, trim); and suppliers to design, develop and release these components/systems.- The Engineer will provide feasibility input for development of designs from Product Design Office (PDO) concepts, sketches, and clay models.- Other responsibilities will include quality improvements, weight reduction, cost reduction and other efficiency improvement initiatives including communicating technical product status to management.- To develop functional objectives, build objectives, DVP&R / DFMEA & manage the production supplier to meet all requirements. Also responsible of the release of completed geometry using NX Teamcenter CAD tools.**Education/Experience**:Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or equivalent2-5 of engineering experience designing and developing on the following**:Exterior TRIM, Body in White, Closures and Vision.****Soft skills**:- Strong verbal and written communication skills (technical and non-technical)- Able to manage multiple simultaneously responsibilities and projects, while being mind of deadlines- Must be task oriented, detail oriented and Make Sound Decisions- Highly motivated individual with excellent communication, problem solving, organizational skills, excellent relationship building skills with the ability to work in a cross functional team environment at all levels.**Technical Skills**:' **Experience designing and developing on the following: --->Body in White, Closures, Exterior TRIM or Vision.**- CAD experience with Unigraphics NX, Catia V5 and Teamcenter in a production release environment **BIW (Body in White), Exterior TRIM, Closures y BIW.**:- Knowledgeable regarding high strength steels/ aluminum forming processes, weld parameters and GD&T- Experience with OEM or supplier on design and release- Experience/knowledge with Design Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (DFMEA) and Design Verification Plan & Report (DVP&R) and validation plans- BoM's creation and edition- Experience designing and developing injection molding, painting, and decorating plastic Class A components- Knowledge of Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) and/or Reactive Green/Black Belt is a plus- BIW in-plant launch experience is a plus- CAE/Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) knowledge- Excellent MS Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)- CATIA V5 knowledge is a plus- Knowledge of Casting and Injection Molding processes is a plus- Possibility of traveling, valid passport, and visa preferable**#We want to get to know you # Become part of our team**Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completo, Por tiempo indeterminadoSueldo: $24,000.00 - $30,000.00 al mesHorario:- Lunes a viernes- Turno de 8 horasPrestaciones:- Vales de despensaTipos de compensaciones:- Bono de asistencia- Bono de puntualidadLugar de trabajo: remoto híbrido en 50160, Santa Ana Tlapaltitlán, Méx.
