The primary function of this position will be to create, implement and analyze Bill of Materials structures to allow financial planning, engineering, and production of final goods. This person will also help to define and implement processes and provide updates to current and new models in the Bill of material structures.**Responsibilities**:- Working cross-functionally with Production, Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing and Planning to ensure the BOM's have the correct structure as well as correct components and quantities loaded in the system- Processing all BOM & Drawing revision notices received from engineering department or BOM change requests received from Engineering, Design, or any other department- Responsible of the configurator by creating rules and configuration of different models during project launch and current production in the ERP- Create the part numbers and upload BOM's to the ERP system; conduct physical and virtual audits to confirm BOM accuracy- Creation and maintenance of BOM's for new manufacturing products- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications; identify applicable parts and quantities for the building of BOM's- Ensures that the BOM is complete and accurate at the time of Production release- Implement product and process improvement changes- Take ownership of the information and following up the procedures to control changesAuthority:- Has the authority to report and/or stop any activity that is identified that may put in risk the integrity of any person who is inside the plant, as a collaborator, contractor, or service provider and/or facilities.- In relation to quality, the employee has the authority to stop any process and/or work activity that identifies may put at risk the quality of our products and/or the requirements of the client.- Has the decision-making authority in accordance with the procedures, corporate policies, and legal requirements for the success of the business.Basic qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electromechanics or Mechatronics Engineering.- Previous experience in a heavy manufacturing environment with high uptime, minimum 3 years.- ERP Advanced Management- ERP Configuration management- Office advanced skills- Advanced English communication skills (> 85%)
