There's never been a more exciting time to join Deel — the international payroll and compliance market leader.Job Responsibilities:As a Bookkeeper, you will find satisfaction in managing and executing a range of financial activities, including:Take part in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processAssist with improving, developing, documenting, and implementing accounting and finance related policies and procedures to support the company's scaleManage and comply with government reporting requirements, statutory financial statements and tax filings, VAT, Corporate Income Tax, Transfer Pricing methodology, etc.Focus on Mexican regulations and how to interact with the Governmental Authorities.Support and assist with internal reports and reconciliationsAd-hoc projectsWork with external auditorsRequirements:The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following qualifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting with at least 3 years of accounting experience, preferably with audit experiencePreferably a graduate of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) or the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN)Big 4 experience from high tech departments (advantage)Well-organized with ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environmentExcellent problem-solving skills and a high level of attention to detailsProficiency with systems and MS officeExperience with Netsuite (advantage)Team player, strong communication and interpersonal skillsTotal RewardsOur workforce deserves fair and competitive pay that meets them where they are
