JOB DESCRIPTION Job Description: This role, along with other positions in the proposed Latin American Supply Chain organization, consolidates efforts currently dispersed in the region. It is established to leverage and enhance supply chain capabilities, specifically focusing on Supply Planning processes and MPS/MRP systems (Apollo/SAP) as part of the Supply Chain Development area.
The primary responsibilities of this role include standardizing, upgrading, optimizing, and increasing the productivity of Supply Planning processes in the region. The role actively collaborates with the Supply Planning and S&OP areas to design and deploy best practice processes. In essence, its mission is to design and implement supply planning processes that enable the company to achieve the best product availability with the lowest possible inventories and costs.
Additionally, a crucial aspect of this role involves creating and managing the KPIs/analytics framework to measure the performance of these processes.
Reporting to the LATAM Supply Chain Development Director, this role also serves as the Business Process Owner for the Planning tools in the region. This entails driving the rollout of the tool in the units, managing the upgrades agenda, and leading the improvement roadmaps for planning tools.

Expert knowledge on SAP and JDA Planning tool (desirable)
Language: fluent English / advanced Spanish / advanced Portuguese
Advanced knowledge on Excel, Power Point, Smartsheet and Power BI (desired)
Background in Project Management, skills for Stakeholder Management
APICS CPIM/CSCP Certification (desired)
Significant Supply Chain operational experience: Supply Planning/Physical Logistics/Customer Services
Significant FMCG business understanding
ERP and Systems implementation/improvements experience (SAP preferred)
Deep understanding of Master Data requirements for Materials Management, Customers and Vendors
What will be your key responsibilities? Drive and support the deployment of Supply Planning capabilities through local operations teams, ensuring that the operational Supply Chain teams possess the requisite knowledge and skills to effectively deploy and operate standards, training, digital tools, and planning assessments.
Ensure rigor and accuracy in assessing the successful integration of capabilities across relevant Supply Chain operations and the organization in the region.
Lead regional functional communities of practice with local markets, supporting the development, deployment, and integration activities. Additionally, monitor the health of local expert roles.
Coordinate with Mars Digital Technologies on any developments and sprints to ensure that the necessary digital capabilities are validated and ready for deployment in the region. Provide knowledge transfer to local teams on system use and offer advice on testing strategies for any changes.
Contribute to the initial development and continuous improvement of MSE Supply Chain functional content, capability standards, training materials, and assessment tools, ensuring quality, rigor, and engagement.
Analyses and improves Supply Planning performance Support the LATAM regional and local teams with analytics focused on Supply Planning.
Design, develop, and maintain tools for the efficient collection and consolidation of Supply Chain Planning data.
Utilize external and internal global Supply Chain benchmarking data and knowledge to improve planning performance across the region.
Consolidate regional logistics inputs for global supply planning reporting, addressing both regular and ad hoc requests.
Influence users to deliver improved processes and systems that drive business benefits through innovative solutions. Ensure that they are in line with the strategic needs of the business and in the most efficient and cost-effective way to increase future benefits.
Planning Systems Business Process Owner Actively collaborate with LATAM market units to deploy global and regional programs and toolkits within the Supply Planning scope, including IT projects with Mars IS.
Identify and disseminate best practices and opportunities across the LATAM Supply Planning team.
Develop and monitor functional and integrated data KPI's that evaluate the effectiveness of the current business processes. • Actively collaborate with the market units in Mexico to deploy local and regional programs and toolkits in the Atlas Outbound and Inbound scope, including IT projects with Mars IS.
Drive best practices and standardization across all LATAM markets, utilizing scorecards for benchmarking and to catalyse change in the scope of planning processes.
Ensure system continuity in Mexico through periodic testing and approval of Atlas global change processes.
