Come be a part of this journey!BAT MEXICO IS LOOKING FOR A DEMAND PLANNING SENIOR MANAGERSENIORITY LEVEL: Mid-Senior LevelFUNCTION: Digital Business Solutions (DBS)LOCATION: MonterreyROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVESThis role is part of the DBS function. The role is responsible for achieving operational excellence and improving supply chain efficiency by owning the development and implementation of robust demand forecasting strategies. Use data analytics, market insights, and cross-functional collaboration to accurately anticipate product demand, minimize inventory costs, and ensure timely delivery. The overarching goal is to establish a demand planning framework aligned with organizational objectives, fostering strategic alignment. Through proactive analysis and strategic planning, the objective is to contribute significantly to the company's overall success by optimizing inventory levels, minimizing stockouts, and improving profitability.Reports to: Demand Planning LeadReporting Level: ManagerialGeographic Scope: North America's RegionWHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FORBuild the vital tools/models to support demand forecasting for monthly demand planning, annual demand planning, and ad-hoc requests.Provide accurate and timely volume performance analysis to facilitate demand forecasting.Ensure accurate and timely reporting as per the Regional guidelines.Handle forecasting process and improve forecasting accuracy and coordinate local forecasting process, co-build short and mid-term demand plan with Sales & Marketing team.Propose demand plan based on statistical analysis (considering market trends, customer vision, expected exceptional, guidelines issued from previous S&OP cycles).Cooperate with the Product and Marketing teams to understand the product availability and upcoming Marketing activities.Consolidate the product-level forecasts from the sales teams.Provide visibility on product performance and reveal a trend towards lower or higher margin products for management team for fact-based decision making.Maintain demand plan to ensure cost-effectiveness and to meet customer needs.CAN THIS BE YOUR FUTURE ROLE?Do you want to develop your career in a fast-paced company with a Global impact?ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGEA graduate in Engineering / Statistics / Economics / Maths / MBA or equivalent.5+ years of work experience in the domain, senior partner management, and project management in a large-scale organization.Good understanding of End To End Supply Chain Management.Good understanding of SC Planning tools: Any ERP like SAP, Blue Yonder, or APO. Kinaxis is a nice to have.Hands-on experience in data toolsets, demand planning software and programs, statistics, forecast modeling.Good commercial awareness and strong understanding of domain along with BAT strategy and business model.Highly skilled in Excel: Expert level.Strong Project Management skills.Writing, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills to a high standard and in fluent English (the working language).Highly numerate with the ability to make decisions and judgments, and the ability to work in a changing environment generating innovative ideas and creative solutions.The most important metrics by which successful performance will be judged are: Timely delivery of monthly demand forecasting file and tracking tools. Timely delivery and updating of sales report and other tracking reports.
