Digital Services & Solutions (DSS) is a recently formed function within Volvo Buses with the global responsibility for digital services and solutions over the life cycle. In close cooperation with our customers and stakeholders, Digital Services & Solutions are responsible for defining, developing, and delivering world class solutions that ultimately drives earnings and profitability for our customers and for Volvo Buses.
We are now accelerating our efforts in digital services and solutions and are looking for a
Business Unit Digitalization Manager. In this position you will report to the Head of Finance in the Business Unit and a dotted line to the Head of Business Solutions in DSS.
**Key responsibilities**
Secure that business & digital goals are visualized and well understood:
- Translate business strategy into wanted outcomes related to digitalization - identify the larger and most important areas for digitalization.
- Drive and develop business capabilities in collaboration with business stakeholders.
- Facilitate in implementing agile ways of working in relation to the Business Unit.
Participation in DSS routines and work
- Work closely together with digital product managers (DPMs) in DSS to ensure BU perspective in the overall Volvo Buses portfolio.
- Secure alignment with Volvo Buses IT Architecture governance
- Participate in monthly and quarterly DSS routines defining contents of the IT roadmap and plans.
Facilitate execution of initiatives by enabling
- proper pre-studies before launching initiatives.
- business related project resources, secure release and roll-out plan, including change management and training approach.
- Identification of issues, risks and potential actions to be escalated.
