.Business Analyst – Application Development POSITION SUMMARY: This role is responsible for technical development and/or functional support for one or more eTrace modules for all Advanced Energy sites. eTrace is the Warehouse and Shopfloor execution system for the EP factories which will be rolled out to other sites and future acquisitions if any. This role will take ownership of technical development and/or functional support of other applications, with the purpose to support manufacturing activities and fulfill business requirements. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Development and Support for eTrace (SOX) Working closely with business users and stakeholders to understand business requirements and propose technical solutions to the project manager. Planning and documenting functional requirements for features and system design. Designing, building, and configuring new function modules in eTrace to meet business process and application requirements. Working with other team members in the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of applications. Providing sustaining support to eTrace with enhancement releases and data maintenance adhering to IT Change Management Processes. Standardization, Rollout of eTrace and other related applications to Other sites Ensuring standardization of the eTrace solution across all AE factories and rolling out newly developed modules to new manufacturing sites as appropriate. Working with project manager to perform functional and/or technical assessments of rolling out eTrace to other AP facilities. Preparing an execution plan and seamless go-live as per the plan with minimal impact to operations, as well as the contingency plan to handle any possible exceptions. Coaching local application support teams to get familiar with eTrace technical details, ensuring timely and effective support after eTrace rollout. Conducting user training, User Acceptance Testing, test scripts, follow-ups on tasks and deliverables, understanding the process, and working on system improvements based on issues encountered in the production line, user feedback, or personal assessments. Team Coaching and Mentoring if needed Mentoring junior team members and ensuring they adhere to determined software quality standards. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Works in a standard office environment and uses general office equipment (telephone, PC, copier, fax machine, etc.). Works under general supervision.
