Business Analyst

Role Purpose

The Digital Business Analyst will work as part of the digital team to create open lines of communication between developers and stakeholders in the development of strategic projects. The candidate will gain a comprehensive view of business needs, operational environment and technical solutions and will play a key role in the creation and improvement of digital solutions.

The candidate for this role can manage expectations and priorities, understand, organize and analize many sources of information, and adapt and participate in continuous improvement within the agile team.
This person is also proactive in providing strategic recommendations and mapping out various business requirements to ensure business needs and company goals are met.

Key Responsibiliies

- Analyze, collect, and clearly document business requirements that development teams can effectively use.
- Owns the mapping of business needs to specific requirements for the digital solutions; builds clear diagrams and other tools to communicate processes and needs effectively.
- Owns tracking of documents, requirements, and scope
- Support product owner with decisions based upon business goals, dependencies and opportunities.
- Work closely with Scrum Master, Product Owner, and Project Manager to support the management of the project by providing insight in risks, dependencies, scope, and opportunities.
- Work closely with UI/UX team members to determine what is needed for best user experience.
- Other projects and tasks as assigned.
