E80 is a wholly owned subsidiary of E80 S.P.A., located in Italy.**Requirements**:- BA degree in Engineering or related field- Excellent communication and negotiation skills are required- Technically Curious, passionate on technology- Ability to learn quickly and think creatively- Knowledge in warehouse management and production plant logistics preferred- Experience in Software Engineering, System engineering, business analysis or software planning- Travel Internationally: Approximately 20-30% of time**Responsibilities**:- Defines Functional Description of the assigned project, in agreement with established E80 guidelines (Functional Description Template) and defines timeline (FD must be ready to be approved by the customer within 3 months from the date of the customer's purchase order).- Organizes and leads the meetings needed to define the system's functional behavior (internal E80 meetings and customer meetings). Responsible for protocoling meetings.- Responsible for validating that the right people are involved on the customer side- Oversees the Functional Description approval by the customer and if Function Description is used by the Software Project Leader as required to build the project software. Responsible for driving the FD to approval (both E80 internal and on customer side)- Responsible for driving the process of defining the technical specification documents that structure the interfaces between the E80 system and the customer systems (host, PLC, etc)- Throughput and data analysis:- Gathers from the customer the data (real or realistic) defining the project flows and throughputs (production rates and codes, shipment rates, distribution and codes, warehouse utilization, etc)- Understands the data assumptions made by the system analyst and compares them with the data obtained by the customer- Performs a static analysis of the data detailed above to identify possible criticalities of the project- Manipulates and organizes the data so that it can be used as input for the LGV Mission Test Phase- Defines and leads the project Software Test Plan (schedule and execution details) according to established E80 standard process.- Writes and publishes the SW Test Plan no later than 1 month after the FD approval.
