Job Summary/Overview Position: Business Analyst, Supply Chain Management
Location: Monterrey, Mexico Position Overview: The Business Analyst will review, analyze, plan, develop, test, document, and/or implement existing and future business systems with the collaboration and guidance from other business analysts. This position will also train various associates in the proper use of systems .
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Consults with business personnel to identify and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, data scope, usage, formatting, and security requirements. Participates in testing at all levels (unit, integration, and user testing); designing and driving testing initiatives; develop and execute test plans; provide leadership to others in support role Documents and trains end users on processes. Review, analyze, plan, develop, tests, document, and/or implement existing and future business systems. Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and AbilitiesSAP Business Analyst experience in a manufacturing company utilizing a fully integrated SAP ECC 6 system.Experienced in implementing, configuring, and supporting a variety of aspects of Supply Chain Management in a Discrete Manufacturing CompanyGeneral knowledge and experience in Supply Chain Management, specifically any/all of Warehouse Management (WM), Materials management (MM), Production Planning (PP), and Quality Management (QM)Knowledge and experience of MRPMM: Release Strategies, EDI/IDocs, Intercompany Stock Transport Orders, Vendors, Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Contracts, Subcontracting, and related master dataPP: Production Orders, Repetitive Orders, Confirmations, Capacity PlanningWM: Control Cycles, Storage Types, Transfer Orders, and related Master DataQM: Inspection Lots, Quality Notifications, and related Master DataUnderstanding of integration points with other areas of SAP system (SD, VC, CO, FI)Strong communication skills with ability to interface at all levels within and organization and provide training and conceptual teaching to management and end users.A strong team player able to assume varying roles within a team and work with external partners as needed for successful completion of open tasks.Strong organizational skills and detailed orientedRequired Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field 3+ years' experience with SAP in Supply Chain Management areas including any/all of Inventory Management, Material & Vendor Master data cleansing and governing/stewardship, Purchase Order Processing, Production Order Processing, Warehouse Processing, Quality Management Proven track record supporting implementations, system enhancement activities, system configuration, production support and user training Columbus McKinnon is a leading worldwide designer, manufacturer and marketer of intelligent motion solutions that move the world forward and improve lives by efficiently and ergonomically moving, lifting, positioning and securing materials.
