Position overview: We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst who leverages their understanding of the travel industry and expertise in Agile methodologies to drive successful development processes. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in translating complex business requirements into clear, actionable development tasks. You will work closely with Product and Engineering teams, making informed decisions based on your extensive knowledge of the travel industry and the CTM business model. Additionally, you will mentor junior Business Analysts, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.- Responsibilities: Facilitate Agile ceremonies, ensuring active team participation and adherence to time limits- Manage the product backlog in collaboration with the Product Manager, refining items for development clarity- Elaborate and clarify user stories by coordinating with team members and the Product Manager- Partner with QA to develop testing strategies and ensure quality standards are met- Review completed work for adherence to acceptance criteria and validate its acceptance- Track and report sprint progress, identifying and escalating blockers- Encourage transparent communication within the team- Drive process improvements after retrospectives and monitor their impact- Assist in team capacity forecasting and manage resource allocation- Serve as a technical liaison, providing updates on technological advancements- Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience- Certified Business Analyst, Scrum Master (CSM), or similar Agile methodology certification preferred- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role, with a proven track record of driving successful projects- Experience in the travel industry and/or the software development lifecycle- Deep travel domain knowledge- Expert-level knowledge of Agile methodologies and principles- Mastery of project management tools like JIRA and Confluence- Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into clear development tasks- Experience in leading and mentoring junior Business Analysts is preferred- Strong skills in facilitating Agile ceremonies, driving process improvements, and ensuring adherence to delivery standards- Ability to manage resource allocation and assist in capacity forecasting- Expertise in creating comprehensive documentation and managing release processes- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
