The Sales Manager for Mexicodevelops new business while maintaining existing business at currentaccounts.
The Sales Manager's efforts have a broad impact on businessdevelopment and uses knowledge of the business/market, customers, andtrade organizations to improve market intelligence and identify newopportunities.
The Sales Manager has the responsibility to manage thecustomer relationship to achieve set business goals.
The position alsohas the responsibility to support the distribution channel for theElastomers and TPU businesses.
The Sales Manager will act as a singlepoint of contact for the Elastomers and TPU markets in Mexico, activelyfollow up on leads to develop market potential and explore newprompt feedback on market Trends.Geographical scope: CountryMajor tasks and responsibilities of position1.
Responsible for achieving sales plans and core volume ofelastomers &TPU products by developing and ensuring a proper executionof the sales strategy defined.2.
Building an strategic relationship with distributors, managing andaligning their efforts towards key customers in alignment with ELA/TPUstrategies.3.
Develops a relation with existing and potential Covestro Clientsto present value added solutions to their business that can representadditional volume sold from Covestro ELA & TPU products.4.
Manages relationships with clients and partners with internalsupport staff (Management, Marketing, Technical Group, Customer Service,etc.)
to ensure follow up on potential issues and to continue buildingvalue to them via Covestro innovative solutions.5.
Responsible for the development and follow up of annual salesforecasts by product and client making sure that sales opportunities aremaximized with all customers6.
Lead pricing and contract negotiations with customers inaccordance with Local/Regional/Global guidelines for specific customersand product lines, ensuring maximum profitability while maintainingheathy and long term client relations.7.
