**About the job**
The primary responsibility of the** Business Development** **Manager** **/ Account Manager** is to establish and maintain profitable relationships with customers on behalf of the company and for actively prospecting for new accounts and maximizing sales potential with existing customers. As the Business Development Manager, you are the primary external representative of our company; you must convey a sense of expertise in our services and capabilities.
The Business Development Manager may perform other related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of the organization and support the internal development of the company.
You are also expected to forecast sales and will also be expected to meet performance targets on a monthly and quarterly basis.
**Responsibilities**:
- Proactively work on identifying new business opportunities
- Develop and work on any internal company certification required.
- Perform territory and market assessments and develop market strategies by researching lists of high potential prospects.
- Identify and evaluate new markets and partnership opportunities through direct prospecting, attendance, participation and networking with various industry.
- Delivers calls and presentations to introduce capabilities and value proposition of company
- Communicate effectively within the internal teams; informing and updating them regularly to guarantee that sales and customer objectives are met.
- Actively manage the current customer base, maintaining good working relationships and developing new business opportunities.
- Effectively present and discuss the products and services of the company
- Develop a strategic sales plan that identifies and develops target accounts and establishes contact with key individuals, leading to increased sales opportunities.
- Understand, comply and develop the current sales system in place.
- Actively support and keep the company's social media platform engaged by posting banners.
**Essential Skills**:
- Bachelors degree in business or sciences or equivalent
- 4+ years of experience in services, tool or equipment sales experience preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office tools and other technology systems
- Demonstrated success in business generation, leading and driving business development.
- Proven business analysis and judgment with the ability to proactively manage customers to meet sales objectives.
- Proven ability to effectively communicate a sales message.
- Understanding of technical drawings, CAD Systems, etc.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, problem solving and negotiating skills.
