Thursday, August 29, 2024 Reports to: Sr Director Industrial + US Sales Location: Mississauga (Head office) Purpose: In this role the incumbent contributes to the sales team's strategy to achieve growth that will strengthen the business, enable US partnerships, and deliver profits that sustain the Gay Lea Foods Co-operative model. As a key contributor, you will execute US growth through private label and Own Label partnerships including project management, pricing strategies, key broker and retailer relationships, with the end objective of growing Market Share, Net Sales and Margin. You will steward the US Market strategies ensuring that the customer voice is top of mind during business planning, S&OP, new product launches, trade spend and supply chain challenges. In addition, you will be responsible for facilitating the day-to-day communication between Marketing, Supply Chain and Operations to execute against business goals and to problem solve challenges. Key Responsibilities: Work with 3 rd party partners and retailers to acquire and deliver US PL, Branded, and/or Own Label opportunities consistent with fiscal budget. Manage at times cross border logistics, tariffs, logistics, and dairy classifications. Build an annual US Plan to influence the development of corporate sales priorities and building blocks focused on US regional growth. Work in partnership with cross functional key stakeholders to empower the organization with US retailer insights and solution driven information to enable and support execution of corporate priorities. Responsible for execution of key building blocks for all US portfolio launches. This role will lean on project management including new sku launches (75%) in addition to sales execution (25%) Ensure proper utilization of internal resources to deliver launch plan timing and acquisition. Lead the cross functional relationship management between G2M, customer service and planning. Leverage the cross functional relationships to be the voice of US sales, resolve pain points and oversee the execution of new business acquisitions. Key Contributor to monthly S&OP process and represent the US sales objectives in supply operations meetings. Qualifications: Bachelor'sdegree in business administration, marketing, sales, or another related field/ Alternative post Secondary studies an asset 3-5 years of experience working in a CPG Company or National Retailer, preferably in private label or branded product launches. Working knowledge of US market an asset Strong analytical skills coupled with experience in Project Management, Commercialization, and Category Management. Ability to execute the minutia of new product launches from start to finish. Strong business and financial acumen. Strong presentation skills and the ability to influence retailers through data and opportunity identification. Advanced Excel and Powerpoint skills as well as working knowledge of syndicated data systems
