Johnson Controls is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead the growth and expansion of our electronic security business in Mexico.
This role is crucial for generating new business opportunities, building strategic relationships with customers, and promoting the company's advanced electronic security solutions portfolio.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a deep understanding of the Mexican market and a proven track record in business development within the security sector.Duties and ResponsibilitiesIdentify, create, and capture new business opportunities in the electronic security sector, focusing on integrated solutions such as IP cameras, access control, alarms, and monitoring systems.Develop and maintain long-term business relationships with key clients, including sectors such as banking, retail, industrial, corporate, and government.Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to increase market penetration and achieve growth targets in the region.Conduct market studies to understand industry trends, competitors, and client needs, adapting business strategies accordingly.Manage communications between key clients and internal teams.Strategic planning to improve client results.Present commercial proposals, participate in contract negotiations, and close deals with potential clients.Ensure sales, profitability, and growth objectives defined by the company are met.Work with design, sales team, logistics, managers, marketing, and team members from other departments to ensure all client needs are met.Collaborate with other sales team members to maximize profit by up-selling or cross-selling.Plan and present reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives to share with managers and directors.Analyze client data to provide customer relationship management.Expand relationships and bring in new clients.Requirements and QualificationsMinimum of 5 years of experience in sales and business development within the electronic security, technology, or related sectors.Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.Goal-oriented, organized team player.Self-motivated and self-directed.Excellent interpersonal relationship skills.In-depth understanding of company key clients and their position in the industry.Eager to expand the company with new sales and clients.Able to analyze data and sales statistics and translate results into better solutions.Bachelor's degree in electronics or electrical engineering.Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be a listener, a presenter, and a people-person.English - intermediate level (written and spoken).Basic computer skills, and experience with CRM software (Salesforce) and the Microsoft Office Suite.Strong negotiation and opportunity closing skills.Willingness to travel within the region, as needed.Proven results of delivering client solutions and meeting sales goals.#J-18808-Ljbffr
