Business Development Manager, Enterprise Segment
Job Description: As a Business Development Manager for Micron's Compute & Networking Business Unit (CNBU) - Enterprise Segment, you will be responsible with driving DRAM solutions business growth for new and existing accounts. Working cross functionally with sales, product managers, executives, customers, and other partners, you will accelerate growth to Micron's leading DRAM business!
This influential role requires outstanding knowledge of the Enterprise, Hyperscale and Channel DRAM market customer base.
Role Responsibilities & Tasks include, but not limited to:
- Helping drive awareness and adoption for Micron Server Memory products
- Working directly with customers to understand the customers future memory requirements and potential for emerging technology solutions; you will be the voice of the customer internally
- Strong understanding of the competitive DRAM landscape and accurately communicate the position of Micron Server products vs the competition across the industry
- Working closely with FAEs to ensure proper planning alignment of memory sampling and customer qualification windows
- Establish a deep understanding of the compute market's Memory TAM, SAM, and SOM down to a customer level in Enterprise OEM and ODM markets
- Communicate Micron's compute Memory direction with customers and industry collaborators
- Attend and present at key Datacenter industry events
- Understand the current & future trends in the Datacenter computing/ storage market and evaluate which customers/ markets make commercial and economic sense for Micron to pursue
- Partner with customers to understand key technology and innovation trends, and provide analysis to Product Managers to determine best fit for Micron's product plans
- Proficiency in seeing the big picture while paying attention to detail
Qualifications include, but not limited to:
- A BS or BA degree in Engineering or Business/Marketing, MBA (preferred) and 8+ years combined of product development, marketing, and customer experience in storage or technology-related field. Memory, Storage, or Server experience is also preferred.
- Ability to work in team environment and maintain good relationships with team members
- Comfort in dealing with ambiguity
- Able to work under continual deadline constraints
- Strong communication and presentation skills including to customers, sales, and senior executive management
- Ability to grasp sophisticated financial, technical, and marketing information to grow Micron's Server Memory product business
- Demonstrated business insight and critical thinking skills
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and working across multiple locations
- Ability to speak & communication confidently with customers on technology trends
- Leverage existing customer relationships at Hyperscalers & OEMs
