In this role, you will be responsible for growing, leading, and managing all luxury sales efforts targeting high-end TA's in Mexico with a special focus on the Luxury Brands. Your focus will be on the highest-end retail Consortia and Host Agencies, TA and direct booking channels, as well as coordinating the sales efforts and relationships with upscale wholesalers and distribution channels. A successful Business Development Manager Luxury will: Be located in or around Mexico City with the ability to travel within Mexico Create and execute strategic sales actions for all third-party luxury channels Maximize sales and drive revenues at the retail and wholesale/partner level Coordinate and execute joint sales calls with primary partners Represent brands at various associations, trade shows, road shows, and other events Assist with sales plans, benchmarking, owner reports, marketing plans as needed Impeccably maintain partner databases and utilize Sales Force to maximize and grow sales territory business and revenue Load all sales calls and activities on SF on a weekly basis Report to management on trends and market developments Build relationships with Business Partners and 3rd party vendors Take initiative to go beyond the ordinary to differentiate us from the competition and create loyalty Bring fresh new ideas to the organization in order to create new business opportunities Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. At least 5 years' experience in the Tourism industry with an existing network of high-end leisure luxury channels and segments. Experience managing and working within a set budget. Advanced MS Office skills including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Sales Force knowledge and skills preferred. Ability to travel, domestically and internationally. Valid USA visa, Mexican passport, and driver's license required. Excellent project management, problem-solving, organizational, and planning skills. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively. Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining confidentiality. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in a team environment, willing to assist the Sales team with job-related responsibilities, including events, shows, and education. Fluent in English and Spanish desired
