Help us rethink how finance teams manage spending.About the RoleAs a Business Development Representative (BDR), you are the first point of contact for driving crucial new business.
You'll leverage every method at your disposal (web, email, mail, phone, new services, etc).
In this role, you will actively seek out new customers, handle lead qualification, and help convert leads into clients alongside seasoned and collaborative sales professionals.
We've won incredibly passionate customers in our target market, but we're eager to grow and increase our market share.
This is a great opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a growing sales team and develop your selling skills.Role Responsibilities:Relentlessly seek out new potential accounts and make first contact to generate interest aligned with Teampay's ICP.Prospect via phone calls, emails, and other methods at volume to exceed expectations.Adapt, learn + iterate at breakneck speed to drive continued results.Experiment with novel engagement approaches and storytelling techniques.Meet and exceed a quota for scheduling new meetings with target sales accounts.Common Candidate Qualifications:Ambitious and self-motivated with comfort in a quota-carrying environment (prior sales experience isn't necessary, but it is a bonus).Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly changing environment.Willingness to lead a high volume of outbound cold calling and emailing activities daily - while maintaining a positive and energetic attitude
