.Current job opportunities are posted here as they become available.Reports To: Manager of Business DevelopmentLocation: Monterrey, MexicoWork Schedule:This position is full-time and onsite/hybrid/remote Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with an hour break, but flexibility is available based on coverage. Eligibility for 1 WFH day per week, after 90 days of employment, dependent on performance and manager discretion.Purpose of Your Work:As a Business Development Representative, working within Redwood Multimodal (one of our entities), you will work closely with the Operations teams and be responsible for growing and developing Redwood Multimodal customer accounts.How You Make a Difference Everyday:Develop assigned customer accounts (generally worth < $10mm in revenue) by using strategic sales techniques to increase overall revenue and gross profit for assigned accounts.Implement standard procedures with the Operations Department based on account requirements, including on-boarding account, setting up load tender process, tracking process, and issue-resolution process.Maintain high level customer service. Communicate customer health internally to enact change/improvement if needed.Negotiate and manage all pricing events, spot and contract, for assigned accounts.Escalation management with leaders, when needed.Manage invoicing process, past due payment and receivables with back office teams.Keeping current on industry trends and customer activity.You've Got This?Bi-lingual in English and Spanish.Strong communication skills both orally and written.Minimum 2 years demonstrated success in Sales/Account Management or Operations in a freight brokerage (or similar) environment.Excellent negotiation, communication, problem-solving, and networking skills.Ability to drive results within a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.Ability to travel on occasion (< 10%).What We Offer:Access to experts and resources for your Learning & Development journey.Opportunity for internal mobility.Employee referral bonus program.Employee Resource Groups (ERGs).Annual fundraising and volunteer events to give back to communities.Life Insurance policy for you starting 30 days after employment.Personal Health Insurance coverage for you – Major Medical.30 days "Aguinaldo" Christmas bonus or prorated percentage your first year.Vacation time starting at 12 days.
