What you will doAs a BI Analyst within the Johnson Controls Global Products Planning organization, you will be responsible for diving deep into large, fragmented, and complex data sets that span our entire supply chain. This position will require a creative problem solver who isn't afraid to get down into the details and build out digital solutions to unlock productivity within our business. You will be responsible for building tools to consolidate, analyze, and drive strategic decision making across our supply chain. The Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for working with many different stakeholders to understand the problem, identify the solution, and execute on bringing the solution to life.How you will do itOwn your projects by creating project plans, tracking progress, and communicating project updates to stakeholders and senior leadership.Build, develop and maintain data models, automated reports, and dashboards that align to strategic performance metrics.Design and develop digital solutions that drive insights into major supply chain metrics such as, On-time Delivery, Days Inventory on Hand, Inventory Health, and Forecast Accuracy.Communicate with technical teams to identify data tables and schemas needed for analysis. General understanding of ERPs, MRPs, and Planning databases will be needed to determine how to prep and blend data from different systems.Identify and drive process improvement opportunities with digital solutions to increase operational efficiency.Utilize business intelligence tools to communicate findings and solutions to the problems you are trying to solve.What we look forRequired:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.1+ years of supply chain or finance related experience. (desirable)Fluent in EnglishExperience working on data analytics projects to drive business outcomesExperience in creating SQL queries to prep and blend dataExperience using Business Intelligence tools such as Alteryx and Power BIProven ability to critically think and creatively problem solveExceptional Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skillsAbility to work effectively in a highly matrixed organizationStrong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.Travel up to 10%.Preferred:Experience using Microsoft applications such as SharePoint, Power Automate, Power Apps, Lists, etc.Experience connecting directly to multiple databases to extract, prep, and blend large datasetsKnowledge of R, Python, DAX, JavaScript, or related programming languagesAPICS CertificationVisa & Passport#J-18808-Ljbffr
