TE Connectivity's Business Intelligence Teams are responsible for the processing, mining and delivery of data to their customer community through repositories, tools and services.**What You'll Be Doing....**:This position will be responsible for analyzing large amounts of data to answer business questions. As a business intelligence analyst, you will interface directly with manufacturing and engineering teams to provide results to complex process.- Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes- Undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data- Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns- Present information using data visualization techniques- Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges- Collaborate with engineering and product development teams- Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.- Collecting large sets of structured and unstructured data from disparate sources- Cleaning and validating the data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and uniformity- Analyzing the data to identify patterns and trends- Interpreting the data to discover solutions and opportunities- Communicating findings to stakeholders using visualization and other means- Work closely with business partners and engagement managers to translate complex business problems into analytics problems and solutions.- Ask questions to understand business intent, problem statement, analytics opportunity, and value creation.Work closely with data engineering team to identify and consume relevant structured and unstructured data sources (including IoT sources such as manufacturing sensors systems).**What your background should look like**:- Undergraduate degree or Master's degree in data science, computer science, statistics or related discipline OR 3+ years of implementation experience and proficiency in developing visualizations using IoT platforms such as Thingworx, Power BI or Tableau- Good understanding of ETL process and is comfortable working with complex T-SQL queries- Experience with Oracle, SAP HANA, and/or AWS databases- Experience working with manufacturing, finance, and engineering business functions and their datasets- Experience with Six Sigma, Red-x or other critical problem-solving methodology- Strong attention to detail- Creative thinking skills - Ability to communicate business requirements as data-driven stories.**Work Location**:This is a remote position and can be located anywhere in Mexico**Competencies**:Values: Integrity, Accountability,Teamwork, Innovation**At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world.
