**Job Summary**
The Business Intelligence Support Analyst is responsible for supporting our established PowerBI-based self-service data platforms: Elixir, Athena, NEMA and NAS & MCO Analytics Dashboard.
As a critical member of the business analytics team, this role will manage incoming internal customer requests for dashboard access, PowerBI navigation assistance and general & technical troubleshooting.
By providing Tier I,Tier II, and Tier III support, this role will seek to delight internal customers by providing responsive solutions that maximize the usage of our data platforms.
**Responsibilities**:
- Essential functions of this role include:_
- Use Office 365 Tools to create a standardized support channel for receiving internal customer support issues related to self-service analytics platform.
- Provide Tier I (system access requests, PowerBI interface questions), Tier II (general PowerBI/Excel report troubleshooting) and Tier III (troubleshooting analytics data pipeline) support and support escalation to Sr. Business Analysts and Program owners as required.
- Review workspace health and if required, manually trigger failed dataflow and dataset refreshes in order to ensure data is up to date.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for all new and enhanced data products (reports, data models, ETL process, etc.)
- Collaborate with other members of the Business Analytics team to champion best practices and eliminate redundancies.
- Fully understand the data and KPIs across all analytics tools supported by the Business Analytics Team
- Actively engage all end users to grow the use of analytics and promote digital mindset across North American Sales and Marketing and Commercial Operations organizations
- Contribute meaningful improvements to the user experience by enhancing existing user engagement tools, data visualizations, and report performance optimizations with the platform owner.

**Qualifications**:
**Education level required**
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
**Years and area of experience required**
- 3 years of experience working in analytics, business intelligence, data engineering or related STEM fields
**Technical knowledge**
- Experience with various relational databases or data warehouses
- Proficient with the following languages; DAX, M, and SQL
- Understanding of data modeling techniques
- Demonstrated ability to navigate a modern Business Intelligence Suite (Microsoft Power BI + Azure is preferred)
**Soft skills**
- Strong communication skills (english written and verbal)
