**REMOTE BUSINESS JOURNALIST**
The mission of the Remote Business Journalist is to assist the Sales Executive in winning new clients by conducting thorough research and virtual interviews with top global leaders and CEOs, fully understanding their company, their needs, and the value our report can offer them through the interview.Your role plays a crucial part in gathering valuable insights and perspectives from high-level executives for our business reports.
**What you'll do**:
- Conduct online interviews with leading business and industry decision-makers and extract actionable insights that can contribute to business reports.
- Carry out in-depth research on business-related topics, including company backgrounds, industry analysis, market trends, and economic indicators. Source information from various channels, such as interviews, press releases, company reports, and online databases.
- Collaborate with editors to refine and polish articles, ensuring adherence to editorial guidelines, style, and tone.
- Collaborate with the sales teams to develop interview strategies and angles.
- Stay updated on industry trends and market dynamics related to the topics covered in interviews.
**Your targets**:
- Interview 20 C-level executives weekly.
- Manifest effective teamwork by supporting colleagues in achieving collective sales goals.
- Achieve team sales closing ratio of 20% on each project.
- Show proven expertise in DRG's key 15 industries and thorough knowledge of past clients' companies and sectors.
**What we're looking for**:
- Skilled interviewer with experience conducting interviews for media and comfortable interviewing C-suite executives about their corporate strategy, their needs, and future organizational plans.
- Perceptive conversationalist who is able to ask insightful questions and build rapport with the interviewee. The ability to listen attentively, synthesize information, and present it in a clear and concise manner is crucial.
- Self-starter who takes initiative in proposing story ideas, embracing new tools, and staying updated on emerging topics. Be open to learning and improving skills continuously.
- Strong research skills and the ability to understand and distil information on a wide range of topics and sectors
- Thorough knowledge and quick recollection of past clients and ability to name-drop
- The ability to work both as a member of teams as well as independently with mínimal supervision is vital.
- Excellent time management, forward planning, and multi-tasking skills with strong attention to detail
- Highly effective verbal skills and a client-focused mindset
- Exceptional ability to listen and understand client needs
- A fast learner who is resourceful, willing to take initiative, and loves learning
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or Public Relations
- 3-5 years of related professional experience. Business development, sales, journalism, communications, and, or public relations experience is preferred.
- Fluency in English, with fluency in other foreign languages an asset

Pay: $36,000.00 - $43,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Santa Fé, Col.: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
