**Job Overview**: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated **Commodity Planning Manager
**Key Responsibilities**:
- ** Planning & Coordination**: Develop and execute detailed plans to ensure timely, cost-effective, and efficient procurement and delivery of commodities, in alignment with production and business requirements.
- ** Supplier Relationship Management**: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery, quality. Act swiftly to resolve any issues and continuously improve supplier performance.
- ** High-Pressure Decision Making**: Navigate tight deadlines and high-pressure situations, ensuring that urgent requirements are met without compromising quality, relationships, or process efficiency.
- ** Collaboration & Communication**: Act as a liaison between teams, ensuring all relevant stakeholders are informed and aligned on priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- ** Continuous Improvement**: Proactively identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements across teams and the supply chain.
**Required Qualifications**:
- ** Proven experience managing cross-functional teams**,
- Strong background in **commodity management**, including sourcing, supply chain planning, and vendor relationship management.
- Ability to work effectively **under pressure** and manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong sense of **urgency** and problem-solving ability to address issues quickly and effectively.
- ** Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills**, with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of supply chain management principles and the ability to drive results in complex environments.
**Education & Experience** Recommended**
- Four-year or Graduate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations management, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
- Typically has 7-10 years of job-related experience or 5-7 years of management experience, preferably in supply chain, operations, or a related field.
