TE Connectivity's Procurement Business Process Teams develop and deploy procurement processes, systems, reporting and audits compliance. They drive continuous improvement throughout the procurement function, develop and maintain procurement systems, tools and databases such as vendor master files, e-procurement quotation tool, procurement web page, supplier portal, SharePoint and the like. They conduct regular external benchmarking to stay abreast of procurement best practices, run procurement reports and perform analysis to identify trends, opportunities, threats and needed course correction as well as lead facilitation of procurement training and development.**What your background should look like**:**Responsibilities**- Standardize and Develop tools and reports to support the strategic sourcing organization in driving incremental performance improvements in supplier productivity.- Champion for TE Operational Advantage (TEOA-P) implementation, in the procurement ADM group, to generate continuous improvement in the extended value stream, deliver incremental improvements through supplier tools and performance projects.- Communicate with the plant and executive finance teams on a regular basis to report out results and forecasts.- Work with Commodity Managers and Strategic Sourcing Specialists to inform the broader procurement organization of PPV trends and prepare financial forecast.- Work as support for various TE manufacturing sites, focusing on how supplied material impacts the business unit strategy in term of cost and inventory.- Evaluate and process price increase authorizations and communicate their impact on the overall business.**Requirements**:- Motivated individual with the ability to learn quickly and work in a self-directed work environment with mínimal supervision.- Ability to take ownership of actions and lead to closure.- A clear communicator who can speak and present confidently to a diverse audience, including senior management.- Ability to work well in a cross-functional environment and with global team members.- Fluent in English; reading, writing, and speaking English language.- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university in Engineering, Operations, Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, or other related disciplines.- Proficient with MS-Office and SAP products. Power-BI proficiency is a plus.- Experience with Procurement, Strategic Sourcing or Supply Chain fields.- Finance experience is a plus, interest is a must.- Practical Problem Solving, 8D, 5 why, Fishbone experience.- Certified Supply Chain Professional (APICS) is a plus.- Willingness to travel and interact proactively with TE manufacturing site personnel and suppliers (up to 30%).**Competencies**:- Values: Integrity, Accountability, Teamwork, Innovation
