Mission

The Business Process Management Specialist will be responsible for the implementation of the continuous process improvement program within ING Romania, by defining, documenting, recommending and implementing process improvements initiatives in a prioritized and structured manner.

Your day-to-day
- Implement the continuous process improvement plan for ING Romania in collaboration with relevant Business Partners.
- Implementation of the continuous process improvement program.
- Collaborate with process and product owners/value chain managers across the bank to identify, plan, design and execute continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain the universe of relevant processes in the BPMS of choice (ARIS).
- Help to build an organizational capability and a culture of continuous improvement.
- Participate in the development of the annual roadmap of continuous business improvement projects that align and support the bank strategic objectives.
- Partner with business leaders to implement the strategy for continuous improvement roadmap.
- Participate at the implementation and maintenance of the Internal Control Over Financial Reporting Framework (SOX) together with the relevant functions from the company.

What you bring to the team
- Bachelor's degree required (Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or Engineering strongly preferred).
- Experience (at least 2 years) in an environment highly recognized for driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Banking sector experience is a plus.
- A proven track record in operational effectiveness, service transformation, process redesign/reengineering, change management and related communication would be a great asset.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification would be a plus.
- Experience influencing change, strategies implementation with impact and delivering results in a matrixed business environment.
- Effective consultative style and outstanding interpersonal qualities.
- Project and program management skills.
- Ability to persuade others to change their behavior without formal authority.
- Ability to build, support and implement, across organizational boundaries.
