.As a **Global Procurement Business Reporting Analyst**, you will be responsible for reporting activities addressed to PPG's Executive Procurement Leadership team, Strategic Business Unit (SBU) Leadership team that includes outside collaborators to the function such as SBU GMs, Technical and Finance Leaders.
They will work with category managers, the procurement finance leader, cross-functional finance analysts and executive management to understand and implement various reporting deliverables.
**Key Responsibilities****:- Build financial models, perform complex analyses to highlight structural savings opportunities, price forecasting, as well as finance savvy, price forecasting, translating market events into financial impacts to PPG- Conversant in communicating with business finance leaders, relationship building and enable commercial communication through effective procurement inputs; Communicate clearly andeffectively to others- Develop Perform ad-hoc reporting across all areas of global Procurement (Raw Materials, Indirects, Logistics) in collaboration with partners and other key contributors to find opportunities and drive future strategic decisions- Settle best graphical display for critical measures, crafting graphics and dashboard formats to accurately convey process performance Determine and develop effective visual display of complex financial reporting (Waterfall charts, rate volume, mix analyses, multi- dimensional (SBUs, Regions, category taxonomy budgets etc.
)- Design, deploy and execute key performance scorecards for global Procurement on appropriate cadences (Global Savings scorecards, Cost avoidance, working capital etc.
)- Develop new reporting based on changes in business landscape.
Increasing markets, downturns, shortages (category inflation communication decks, feedstock reports by SBU)- Operate with knowledge of purchasing policies, processes, and guidelines- Develop solutions to sophisticated and time sensitive requests.
**Qualifications**:- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Accountan related field of study; an advanced degree suchas an MBA or related field of study is preferred, as well as a minimum of 3+ years previous analytics, business, and/or procurement experience is required- Comfortable with coordination of global initiatives and navigating in a matrix organization across time zones and diverse cultures and working styles; Ability to work across cultures and across diverse management styles- Sophisticated skills in MS Excel such as building macros and automating reports and other complex computer and analytical skills are required.
