Experience what's next at Avnet!Job Summary:Provides business support services and assistance requiring occasional discretion and judgment. Coordinates a unique set of processes, projects, and/or services for an assigned area.Principal Responsibilities:Provides administrative and/or customer support in assigned area. This may include performing business support functions and related administrative tasks to support programs, research requests, projects, and analyzing data points or processes.Reviews and/or audits documents, forms or data for appropriateness/accuracy. Initiates additional corrective action, as appropriate.May correspond with internal and/or external customers, using defined corporate formats and procedures, via verbal, electronic and written communications.Maintains records and/or files for assigned area.May also need to ensure appropriate documentation is timely and accurately entered into departmental records as required.As assigned, prepares, collates, and distributes various reports in a timely and accurate manner.May support or handle recurring department projects or one-time projects, as directed by supervisor.May maintain supply inventories by checking supplies to determine inventory level, anticipating needs, placing and expediting orders and verifying receipt.Other duties as assigned.Job Level Specifications:Extensive knowledge of the organization, job, practices and procedures, enabling a high level of contribution.Completes complex assignments requiring significant judgment, initiative and problem solving skills.Work is performed under minimal guidance and assigned in the form of desired expectations. Independent judgment is used to determine best approach and creativity is expected to achieve maximum results and handle new situations.Collaboration with internal or external contacts. May participate on teams for special assignments. Responds to requests from senior management, internal and/or external contacts.Actions may have significant impact to department as well as others. Errors may be difficult to detect and remedy and potentially result in loss of customer business, materials, money and/or time
