Business Support Specialist, IT Operations - Mobile Device HardwareJob Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Support Specialist to join our IT Operations team, focusing on mobile device hardware components and functionality. The ideal candidate will provide expert support and guidance on mobile device hardware issues, manage device inventory, and assist with troubleshooting complex hardware problems.Key Responsibilities:Maintain in-depth knowledge of mobile device hardware components, including processors, memory, displays, cameras, and sensors.Diagnose and resolve complex hardware issues for a variety of mobile devices (smartphones, tablets, wearables).Manage mobile device inventory, including procurement, asset tracking, and lifecycle management.Collaborate with software teams to identify and resolve hardware-related performance issues.Develop and maintain documentation on hardware troubleshooting procedures and best practices.Provide technical guidance to other IT support staff on mobile device hardware matters.Evaluate new mobile devices and recommend hardware upgrades or replacements as needed.Assist in the development and implementation of mobile device policies and security measures.Coordinate with vendors for device repairs, replacements, and warranty claims.Stay current with the latest trends and advancements in mobile device hardware technology.Requirements:In-depth knowledge of mobile device hardware components and their functionality.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Mobile Device Management (MDM) certifications are a plus.Experience with mobile device management platforms (Intune) are a plus.Familiarity with both iOS and Android operating systems and hardware.Fluent in English (Verbal and Written).This position offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge mobile technology and play a crucial role in maintaining our organization's mobile device infrastructure.
