Business Unit Director Latam - Vision Surgical

Directs marketing and sales activities to ensure that short and long range sales volumes and projects are achieved.
- Collaborates with product development staff to implement product modifications or improvements to product line.
- Provides input for the development of products which anticipate and serve a customer need/solution approach.
- Oversees the development of sales processes and pricing models.
- Motivates marketing and sales staff.
- Coaches and mentors subordinates and appraises subordinate performance.
- Develops and implements short and long range sales and marketing plans.
- Formulates marketing objectives, policies, sales organization structure, sales and marketing programs to achieve maximum sales and profit.
- Strong Leadership skills.
- Experience in Medical Devices sector/field.
- Experience with distributors and lead transformation/ go to market from indirect channel to direct channel.
**Qualifications**
Portuguese language skills are a requirement

Fluent English and Spanish

Main requirements are the following:

- Solid Experience in Sales and Marketing Management in relevant industries
- Knowledge of Medical Devices business is mandatory
- Knowledge of the Surgical Vision Business is a plus
- General Management or Business Management experience in LATAM market is a plus
- Experience in KA Management and in the Development of Strategies for Professionals
- Track record of delivering sales results
- Experience with full P&L ownership
- Success in managing a large, multi-layered organization and in developing future leaders
- Strength in managing cross-functional stakeholders, across multiple markets
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and manage complexity
- Experience with distributors and lead transformation/ go to market from indirect channel to direct channel.
- Experience to report to Global Leadership

**Preferred location is São Paulo, Brazil - other location in Latin America required: 50 - 70% for travels across the region**
