**PRIMARY FUNCTION**:Responsible for ordering raw materials to cover production demand**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:- Place PO's according to production demand- Maintain records of PO's sent to vendors- Inventory management- Cost analysis- Collaborates with peers in both warehouses (ELP/JRZ)- Cost savings- Pickups appointments with vendors- Collaborates with peers in the payables department- Following to PO's with vendors**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:- **Bachelor's degree** in administration or related field or equivalent work experience required.- A minimum of three-years of experience in a manufacturing environment.- Demonstrated ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business communications and technicalequipment manuals.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of associates and leadership.- Demonstrated ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
