.This position will be responsible for leading and coordinating Purchasing Projects activities including but not limited to: Sourcing of New and Minor models, Monitor Costs coordination and reporting, Localization, TdC Analysis, Benchmark activity, Cost Break Down Analysis, PDT promotion & Cost Reduction tracking that contributes creating profitable growth.**Job functions**:1- Plans and Controls the Purchasing Projects for New and Minor Models. Leads the project in all the phases coordinating the activities of RNPO and VT in the Region (NMEX & NNA). Develop Program Schedule. Ensures cost and timing targets.2- Leadership of Monitor Costs activities for purchasing. Gap analysis for bought out parts and Commercial gap closure coordination. Action Plan creation and tracking.3- Represents purchasing for project concerns with other functions as H4P, VPM, PMO, ACO, SCM. Purchasing window for Budget Setting, Project Progress Meeting, TdC & Localization meetings.4- Supplier sourcing approval. Ensures suppliers meet Nissan's goals for quality, cost and delivery. Manage Sourcing Risks.5- Promotes and coordinates localization activity based on TdC cost improvement and Local content increase. Business Case analysis and adoption coordination with related functions: engineering, purchasing, production control, finance & plants. Plans, develops, implements and maintains cost reduction plans in support of the project cost reduction goals.6- Understand purchasing processes (supplier selection, ASC generation, origin definition of a part number, QCDDM evaluation, CCD, Nomination Letter, etc...) and design process (PDT) which enables this position to coordinate activities that involves both areas.7- Understand design process (PDT) therefore is able to generate an analysis from the CPL, give proper follow up with Purchasing, ACO (CE/VCM) as well R&D to audit the "variance sheets/ CPL" on the aCVE meetings.8 -Knows all the above therefore is able to check with ACO, Design and Purchasing the consistency of the final CPL at the end of the PDT process. As necessary, performs other related duties of which the above are representative.**Education**:Bachelor's degree in industrial or automotive Engineering, Business Administration or Commercial areas. Consider equivalent related college or technical courses.**Required experience**:At least 1 year of automotive experience in Purchasing, Program Management or Cost Analysis.
