Coordinates with other departments to ensure an uninterrupted supply of parts to production lines and to solve supply problems.

Negotiates and establishes commodity prices for production parts.
Handles assigned commodities.
Ensures cost control in accordance with the Nissan revival plan cost reduction goals and requirements.

Locates suppliers and develops their abilities to meet current and future production parts requirements.
Ensures suppliers meet Nissan's goals for quality, cost and delivery.
Performs comparative analysis of competing suppliers to select most competitive source for a specified commodity.

Establishes contracts for assigned commodities; maintains purchase orders, and related purchasing records; maintains files and records of current and potential suppliers, materials and prices.
4.
Coordinates activities between all departments and supplier base to ensure uninterrupted supply of parts and resolution of supply issues and problems.
5.
Plans, develops, implements and maintains cost reduction plans in support of the department's cost reduction goals.
6.
Coordinates all functions, procedures and system related concerns between NNA-National and NNA-Smyrna regarding service, accessory, remanufactured and key value parts.
7.
Locates suppliers and negotiates for the procurement of facilities and MRO purchased items and services related to non-production purchasing.
8.
As necessary, performs other related duties of which the above are representative.
**Education**:
Bachelor's degree in business, industrial engineering, or alike/ related discipline.
Consider equivalent related college or technical courses, seminars in-house classroom training.
**Previous experience**:
Five or more years of related experience at a professional level
Two or more years providing on-the-job training to new employees, but had no other formal supervisory responsibilities.
**Required knowledge**:
Commodity and market knowledge.
Commercial and legal regulations knowledge
**Language**:
English (Advanced level)
**Computer skills**:
SAP
