The Buyer is responsible for filling purchase orders, working alongside inventory management and other internal departments, forecasting sales by item, analyzing trends and inventory based on historical data and monitoring sales performance.General Responsibilities- Leads the supply chain manager through maintaining proper inventory levels of materials used on a regular basis- Responsible for the filling of purchase orders- Reviews allpurchasing requisitions- Leads in the development of creating an accurate and efficient monitoring system- Responsible for entering data into databases or other computerized systems to maintain up-to-date supplier and vendor information, to track purchases and the status of orders and deliveries, and to generate purchasing reports and statistics- Leads research on potential suppliers and vendors; promotions, and other industry trends as a source of accurate and up-to-date information for purchasing activitiesExperience / Qualifications- A university degree required (i.E.
