In this role, you will be responsible for purchasing materials from approved and qualified suppliers with sufficient lead time to prevent material shortages, expediting materials, and providing solutions to any problems related to delivery dates for materials at risk.Essential Functions:Purchase materials from approved and qualified suppliers with sufficient lead time to prevent material shortages.Expedite solutions to any problems that arise in relation to delivery date, quality, and quantity of purchased commodities.Review with suppliers any problems that could cause company losses (quality, delivery delays, etc.).Assist in clearing payment issues on suppliers' invoices.Responsible for keeping the KPIs of the department on target.Responsible for maintaining the inventory value on target.Responsible for running the purchase requisitions report and placing purchase orders with suppliers.Keep the DOS for the purchased materials on target.Additional duties as assigned.Qualifications:Required: Bachelor's degree in Business Management or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.Minimum of 1 year of experience in a procurement position or similar.MRP system knowledge, preferably SAP.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Strong sense of integrity.Excellent communication and analytical skills.English proficiency of 80% or higher.About Fender Musical Instruments:Fender Musical Instruments Corporation (FMIC) is one of the world's leading musical instrument manufacturers, marketers, and distributors, whose portfolio of brands includes Fender, Squier, Presonus, Gretsch, Jackson, EVH, Charvel, Bigsby, and Groove Tubes, among others.
