**Responsibilities**:
- Coordinate purchasing activities and process purchase requisitions promptly
- Using MRP and/or manual requisitions, analyze demand to determine the need
- Send out RFQs for price and availability
- Monitor supplier delivery
- Negotiate price/volume/delivery dates
- Process RMA's Expedite and reschedule as necessary to meet production requirements
- Responsible for resolving AP/AR issues through analysis and investigation
- Drive profitability through a good understanding of our material and labor costs as they relate to our desired business goals
- Research alternative suppliers for obsolete or long lead time parts
- Manage implementation of engineering changes, interpretation of procurement policies, process improvement projects, contract negotiation, and approval of PPVs
**Required Experience**:
- 3-8 years of experience purchasing electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical components
- Contract Manufacturing experience preferred
- Mechanical Manufacturing Operations
- Experience in Materials, Supply Chain, and/or Cost Accounting, preferred
- Strong analytical and project management skills
- Proficient with MS office (emphasis on Excel)
- Highly proficient ERP system experience (preferably Oracle)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
